Strange dreams...

I keep having reaccuring dreams about an intelligent looking man, older than me, with a pony tail and a full beard coming into the store where I work and saying, "I'm looking for someone called Amethyst Hawke. Have you ever heard that name?"
I always wake up wondering who he is....

Actually he looks an awful lot like a man I met and started talking to online, he had a picture of himself on line and I didn't at the time... But this guy is tall and thin, and the guy I knew had a pretty good sized belly... LOL
I never met that man in real life, though... He had said he comes through here once in a while, lives in Missouri somewhere... maybe it is him...
Of course, anytime there is a man in my dreams, 99% of the time he has long hair anyway... LOL

Now that I think about it, he looks like a guy I dated back in the mid 80s from Dodge City that went by the name of Corndog.
Last time I saw Corndog though, he had moved to the Bahamas... (should have kept ahold of that one...LOL)

I live close enough that I could drop by your store, but I won't without your permission first. (I don't want to scare anyone.) I have short brown, turning white, hair. So I'm not the man of your dreams. :-)

As I said in my post Tuesday, "Fantasies," I would like to meet many of my fellow bloggers. I often wonder if the impression I get from their writings is anything like the real person.

They say the Universe always provides what you need, Ms Hawke. I wonder why the Universe doesn't provide what you want as well.

As long as I'm wondering, I wonder who "They" are and if I've ever met them.

I'm also wonder what that Rednaked broad's idea is.

No offense to Rednaked, but it is hard telling what her idea is...lol
I have come to the conclusion that "they" is human consciousness as a whole... People are independent and intelligent on their own, but as a whole we area flock of sheep...

As long as someone just wanted to meet, shake hands, discuss life over a cup of coffee or something, that would be great... I don't think I would want to meet someone in a romantic capacity right away, although I know couples who have had great relationships that way... Just not me, I guess...

Oddly enough, with a few notable exceptions, I rarely think of people I meet on the net and through the blog in any real world context. I usually don't wonder how they look or how closely their net persona matches the real world persona.

There are, however, exceptions.

There is also the fact there are a lot of very bad people in the world. There are people teetering on the edge of insanity. Unless you are prepared to deal with the worst case scenarios it is best to keep the worlds separate. As much as I would like to believe the people I like in cyberspace are as they seem.........

The only one I ever met from online spent and hour telling me about UFOs and government coverups... Any wonder I'm a bit wary of meeting anyone now?? LOL... There are several people I have met here that I wouldn't mind meeting in real life, but very few...

I think meeting a fellow blogger for a romantic encounter without months of emails, IMing, and phone calls is just wrong. And scarey too.

If I should, and its not too likely that I will, be in SW Kan I would like to have to cup with you. Or if you or you and Andy or you and whoever are up here in KC we could meet in a Starbucks for a cup. Email me if you want.
